About

A non-specific drawing of a non-linear path with different milestones

Modern careers aren’t a straight line—mine certainly hasn’t been.

Graduating with my PhD at Stanford was one of the happiest days of my life.

In graduate school, I worked hard to build the research and teaching skills needed to be a professor.

In college, I thought I’d become a lawyer.

As a little girl, I dreamed of exploring space.

Graduating with my PhD at Stanford was one of the happiest days of my life.

Then, in 2012, I landed an interview—almost by chance—with an EdTech startup. That’s how I discovered product management, a field I hadn’t even heard of at the time. And since then, I’ve had the privilege to build my skills at major tech companies like Intuit, where I was trained as an Innovation Catalyst, and Indeed, where I’ve grown as a team lead and manager.

For the past 13 years, I’ve led the development of products that help people grow, including:

An AI-powered English language test for global professionals.

An app that helps high school students explore careers using design thinking.

A hiring platform used by millions of businesses worldwide.

Through it all, two passions have remained constant—I love exploring, and I love helping others. Now, as a teacher, coach, and advisor, I get to do both. And I’d love to help you, too.

What would you like to talk about?

  • Breaking into product management

  • PhD / Post-doc transition to tech

  • EdTech design and development
